Online Tutoring

Online tutoring, anywhere in Canada.

I'm based in Kelowna, and teaching online means distance stops deciding who I can teach. A student in Prince George, Winnipeg or Halifax gets the same teacher, the same preparation and the same 60-minute session as a student down the road from me.

  • No travel, either direction — Which usually means an easier time finding a slot that works.
  • The same tutor every week — I keep the notes and the context between sessions.
  • Written work we can both see — Shared drawing tools, so the working is visible rather than described.
  • Flexible scheduling — Evenings, weekends, or during the school day for homeschool families.
  • Anywhere in Canada — Any province or territory — sessions are scheduled in your time zone.

What you actually need

A device with a reliable internet connection, and that's genuinely it. The exact setup depends on the student's device and what they already use at school — a Chromebook, a school laptop with Teams already installed, or a home computer are all fine. We choose the simplest setup that works well for the student, and sort it out once we've agreed to meet.

You do not need to decide any of this before booking, and you don't need to buy or install anything to have the free consultation.

Where sessions run

Sessions run online anywhere in Canada. I teach the BC curriculum, and the Grade 8-12 math and science sequences are close enough between provinces that it rarely matters — ask me if you're unsure.

Vancouver & the Lower Mainland

Students in Vancouver, Surrey, Burnaby, Richmond and the surrounding communities are taught online only — I'm based in Kelowna and don't travel to the coast, so there are no in-home sessions there.

Online sessions are $70 for 60 minutes one-on-one, paid by card, or from $40 each when students share one. The free 15-minute consultation comes first.

I tutor math from Grade 8 to Grade 12, plus science and physics — the full list is on the subjects page.
